Zebra blinds, also known as 2in1 blinds, are a combination of two fabric options (typically blockout & light-filtering or room darkening) to have the best of both textiles in a single blind. Horizontal fabric slats appear to “float” between two layers of soft, sheer fabric in our made-to-measure Zebra Blinds. Without raising the entire window blind, the fabric slats in a Zebra Blind can be changed to your desired privacy and light setting. It’s the ideal Day and Night Blind, as well as a stylish alternative to Double Roller Blinds. When a Zebra Blind is rolled down, the mechanism allows horizontal fabric slats to move vertically and regulate the amount of light entering the room while keeping the view through the sheer fabric layer, unlike a standard roller blind.

The 3′′ zebra stripes may be lined up on the blinds, providing privacy, light control, and insulation. To let incoming daylight, adjust the shutters slightly, aligning the 2′′ sheer fabric section. Much like opening and closing the slats of a blind, layered Shades control light by alternating the bands from open to close.
